PARKS AND RECREATION
The week of September 22–26 was full of
excitement as kids enjoyed Fall Break Camp
while out of school. With themes of Cooking
and Sports Mania, campers had the chance
to make their own breakfast treats and take
part in a variety of fun activities, including a
kickball tournament, balloon relay, and even
Dance Dance Revolution. A special highlight
of the week was a group lunch trip to Chuck
E. Cheese. Campers are already looking
forward to the next round of fun at Winter
Break Camp, coming up February 16–20.

FALL BREAK CAMP RECAP
Parks Maintenance staff continues to make
improvements across the ball fields. This week, the
team used a planer and turf renovator to cut away
soil build-up and repair bare areas, creating
smoother and more even playing surfaces. These
efforts are an important safety measure to ensure a
better experience for everyone who takes the field.
