Below is a summary of the projects requested by departments for funding in FY 2026 that the CIP
Committee eliminated or delayed to a future year:
General Fund CIP
Stormwater Master Plan Engineering $150,000
Removed from CIP schedule. Recommended to request for operating budget.
Detention Pond Maintenance Engineering $100,000
Removed from CIP schedule. Recommended to use 2022 SPLOST funds.
Public Works Facility Needs Assessment Engineering $100,000
Pushed back one year to reevaluate timing.
Spray Foam Insulation Facilities $50,000
Removed FY26, but kept funds for FY27-30 on schedule.
Misc Flooring Replacement Facilities $45,000
Removed FY26, but left FY27-30 on schedule. Department will use existing funds this year.
Cast Iron Pipe Lining Facilities $50,000
Pushed back one year.
Oil Tanks Relocation Facilities $60,000
Pushed one year.
HVAC Replacement and Repairs Facilities $500,000
Removed funds for FY26 and recommended to use FY26 Green Energy funds.
Electrical Mapping of City Building Facilities $150,000
Pushed back one year.
Painting of City-Owned Buildings Facilities $165,000
Removed FY26 request, but kept in funds for FY27-28. Recommended to use existing CIP painting project
funds.
Roof Repairs & Replacements Facilities $96,000
Removed FY26 request, but kept in funds for FY27-28. Recommended to use existing CIP roof project funds.
Grease Trap Replacement Facilities $85,000
Pushed back one year.
Replace Locks at Jail Facilities $35,000
Removed from schedule.
